I've been accepted for the M.Litt in Early Modern History. My undergraduate degree, surprisingly enough, was very much history-focused.
My main interests are in Renaissance and Early Modern Italy so I'll be focusing my studies on that period as much as possible. I'll also be doing Italian language and palaeography. I speak a little Italian at the moment and am working on improving. I've also done a little palaeography at theNational Archives of Scotland and since Italians were using the much easier to read Italic hand from the Renaissance onwards, I'm optimistic in that department.
